As the working day commences some operators in Canada are reporting service restored, but they are monitoring closely as traffic begins to increase.
We remain cautiously optimistic that the situation has improved, although we'll be monitoring closely.
At this time we remain on full alert ready to handle an increase in demand on our support channels during the day in the event the disruption continues.
We'll provide a further update in around 1 hour once we've witnessed a decent amount of traffic to review.

Sadly we have to confirm that the issues our Canadian users are facing are as a result of the storm damage that's ravaged the west of Canada. While none of our services have been directly impacted, some of our suppliers services are out as a result of the fiber cuts caused and many users calling our subscribers are being faced with varying messages about no route found, bad audio or dropped / failed to connect calls.
Most telcos in Canada are experiencing widespread outages even all the way to the east as a result of the damage.
We don't have any ETA at present and it's unlikely we will have tonight. We apologize for the inconvenience caused but we hope everyone is safe all across Canada with extra consideration to those directly affected by the storms.

We're starting to see multiple operators in the Canada region acknowledge issues with their networks caused by adverse weather causing damage to major fiber lines.
Attempts to confirm this is indeed what's causing many of the issues being reported to us from Canada this afternoon and evening are under way.

We've had reports from clients and notifications from some of our upstream carriers that service to/from Canada is somewhat unstable at this time. There have also been unconfirmed reports affecting parts of the US too.

The data center have confirmed a network issue affecting the reachability of some servers.
They are currently investigating. We've verified this is not impacting on any of our telephony services.

Our monitoring systems detected issues with our website and email servers a few minutes ago, initial indications are that the server is completely unreachable.
We have raised this to the data center to investigate.
At this time, any services that rely on our website or email (including but not limited to Tickets, Email to Fax, Fax to Email, Voicemail to Email) are currently unavailable.

A further update will be issued as soon as the situation permits.
All telephony services are still 100% operational.

Due to local restrictions on caller ID delivery, we are removing support for caller id to Panama for the time being so that calls may still continue.
All calls to Panama destinations will have the caller ID set to anonymous from this point forward and we expect to have calls flowing again by midday eastern time. Depending on local carriers, random caller ID may be displayed, this is outside our control.
We apologize for the continued disruption and for any inconvenience caused by the withdrawal of caller ID support for this area.

Debido restricciones locales sobre identificación de llamador (caller id), a partir de ahora decidimos descontinuar soporte de Caller ID en las llamadas con destino Panamá.
El ID presentado en llamadas a Panamá será bloqueado para que las llamadas puedan pasar correctamente. Estimado tiempo para completar el trabajo requerido es mediodía (hora este) hoy mismo.
